AWS KIRO

Kiro is unique to AWS in that it has it's own brand and mascot - a ghost named Kiro. They came to us wanting an equally unique way to get attention. Kiro is an AI tool that helps coders avoid slop, so we wanted to devise a way to make videos that used AI, but also avoided the slop. We expanded the universe of Kiro by fabricating miniature sets and characters which we then brought to life using Hybrid AI production. This allowed us to bypass the slop, produce more content, but also retained that charming hand-made feel.

To launch their nation-wide halloween themed coding competition, AWS wanted a social video that was saturated in the spirit of the spooky holiday. We devised a way to bring AI and traditional stop motion strategies together to create something that was completely custom fabricated, but also reduced overall production time to meet the necessarily tight deadlines.
